10 years at the highest levels: Big 4, National Firms, VC.
A year ago I thought AI was still far from replacing CPAs. Hallucinations, security issues, firm policies, audit risk. Plenty of reasons to believe the profession had time.
I was wrong. Or at least too comfortable.
AI moved fast. It started as a research tool, then a workflow tool. Now we're seeing agents that can actually execute tasks. That shift happened faster than most people expected.
As someone who runs businesses, I started hedging early. I opened a nail spa, very human, very local, hard to automate. I built DMV Slots and stayed close to tax compliance. Both sit around government systems still running on 1990s infrastructure. That gap is still a big opportunity.
The risk is real. Who knows. Maybe tax tech is where I go next.
I don't just advise businesses. I build them too.
Tech-driven platform that monitors DMV systems and alerts customers when appointments open up in real time. Operating across TX, NC, NJ, NY, FL, NV, and Ontario.
Co-founded as a UTA sophomore to help US families call Vietnam affordably. One of the first platforms to let customers recharge phone credit online automatically, long before FaceTime existed.
State-licensed CE school approved by TDLR Texas. Practical, modern courses for licensed professionals, starting with cosmetology and expanding into skilled trades.
Luxury nail spa in Columbus. The nail industry built the Vietnamese-American community, raised our families, and created our foundation. Carrying that legacy forward and raising the bar.
Family comes first. Everything I build is grounded there.
I invest real time in early-career professionals, especially international students finding their footing. Just paying it forward.
I speak on tax strategy, wealth management, fund operations, and AI in accounting.
Currently focused on financial strategy and AI agent development. Always building, always learning.
